Wegiel Painting was founded in 1987 by Wesley Wegiel with a vision to provide honest, high-quality painting services with unmatched attention to detail.
Wesley’s experience working in the painting industry made him realize that there was a better way to deliver these services—one that prioritized transparency and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. Starting with projects throughout Chicago’s Northshore, Wesley quickly earned a reputation for quality work, resulting in steady word-of-mouth referrals and a growing client base.
Originally known as “Wesley Wegiel Painting and Decorating,” the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has always been at the core of what we do. Over time, the business grew organically, expanding beyond the Northshore to serve clients as far south as Princeton, Illinois, and as far north as Antioch, Illinois.
Today, Wegiel Painting is proudly led by Wesley’s son, Ernest Wegiel, who brings a modern perspective to the family business. Ernest has embraced new technologies and eco-friendly practices, allowing us to better meet our clients’ evolving needs. Ernest Wegiel grew up watching his father transform homes and businesses with skillful painting. Inspired by his father’s dedication and passion, Ernest joined the family business to carry on the Wegiel legacy.
